Is local government changing the way they request bids based on Vendor Registry?

Yes and no. Each local government has their own way of doing things. Some cities/counties post bids only in their newspapers. Others update their website. Vendor Registry is making it easier for governments to post their own bids. If local governments are already emailing you notifications, we don’t expect that to stop; however if you are not already receiving notifications simply registering as a vendor will not change the way you receive notifications.
